Wasn't looking to buy any type of special audio for my car but my friend needs money and is trying to sell. If its a good deal i'll probably buy them. I don't know much about audio or anything, but i got an explorer so it needs some loud audio. anyway let me know if thats a good deal i checked out the stufff there already in a nice box. will it rattle alot in the xplorer have heard both sides of the argument?

its not sony itss rockwood xplore not sony xplode or w/e that is. he said he got them last year. ill probaly go way over 200 after i get a new head unit. but i'm probably gonna get them either way. like i said hes my friend so if he still has the warranty i can go through him if something happens.

That is a good deal, yes. It would definately blow whatever stock you have in the Explorer away.

I picked up 2 15" Audiobahn subs in a standard box for $50 a few years ago, and I'm extremely pleased with them.

If he can install for free, I would jump on that. But if you go over $200 for equipment + installation, that's pushing it.

you should use the +12v for the remote, you could drain the battery that way. and your sub is not a 2000 watt sub, it's a 600 watt sub, RMS is the only number that is important. if the sub sounds good in the car, why do you care what it sounds like outside? a simple way to reduce rattle is by tightening/adding screws to the liscence plate. what kind of box do you have? what size? what type of amplifier and sub do you have?

if you buy used you always run the risk of no warranty... Buy new is what i say I can get you something that hits just as hard for not much more then you have the warranty if it goes bad.

buy it that is GOOD DEAL keep the speakers and get rid of that amplifier sony amplifiers are not that good
