I have a boyfriend and we have a 5 month year old son together. But Im just not happy anymore. so i started to talk to my ex. i still have feelings for him and i told my boyfriend now. and he said im not breaking up with him. what should i do???

Well, you can break up with your boyfriend if you want. If you aren't happy you always have two choices, you can stay and try hard to work things out, or you can cut your loses and walk away. Make sure that walking away is what you really want, regardless of whether or not you will be with your ex. If you aren't happy, you can be happier single. If he told that you couldn't break up with him, that sounds a bit controlling. You can always break up with him. Don't ever let a man walk on you, these things only get worse with time. If you don't love him, set you both free to be with someone who you can be happy with. Always remember, a man can't make you happy. You make yourself happy, do what you think is best for you and most importantly your son. Good luck, I hope it all works out for you.

You didn't say how old you were so I'm going to assume you are at least 18. You are not married to this man but you both have a responsibility to bring this child up in a loving environment with two parents. If this man is threatening your life in any way, then you need to get away from him and seek law enforcement help if needed. Get some counseling before you move on to another relationship to find out why you don't stay happy. Also, please don't bring another innocent child into the world until you are in a stable relationship that you plan on remaining. That's not fair to the child.

He can`t exactly stop you from breaking up. You`re an adult [[right??]] now, and you can do whatever you want to do. And if you ARE going to break up, do it now, before your son grows up. If you`re not happy with your boyfriend, then of course you can break up. That`s how relationships have new starts and ends.

I suggested that you should follow your heart and know what you want. Most of all, focus on your son! I have had been through the same thing with 2 guys in the past. However, I followed my heart than my mind with someone I truly love. Look what happen, I married him! Don't think about those guys or you would regret it! PLease follow your heart and know what is best for you and your son which is the most important! Here is one of my quote...." I think you need to make this decision on your own. If i were in your footsteps I would break up with the new boyfriend and go back to the old boyfriend if you have feelings for him

If you're not happy now then it's not fair for you to hang on to the relationship. Make sure you let him stay in your son's life because you are forever tied to him because of your son.

well this is why you have to choose the right person,cause if you don't then your just messing up yourself and you guys aren't married yet and you have a kid.If you sitll have feelings for ur ex then you should've have told him earlier before you do that and have a kid,cause now ur totally mess up.

well u should follow ur heart and nothing else. not married so u don't have to do any of those papers or anything, but u will have decide who will get ur son, but all u have to do is follow ur heart. good luck!!!

If your unhappy, get out of it. Your not married. If your going to get out of it, it's better to do it now when your son is young rather then do it when he's older when you might hurt him.
