If you want the relationship to be serious, don't start it off with a lie.
If you're not a virgin, and he's the least bit experienced, he'll be able to tell. Has he even asked the question? Don't volunteer the information unless he asks. Then if he does, tell him the truth. If he has a problem with it, you can't have a serious relationship with him anyway.

Never lie. If you lie now, you will lie later. A boy respects a girl more for telling the truth than one who will lie to "make him feel better."
Though I personally want a girl who is a virgin, if she is not a virgin, but honest, she can still be virtuous.

If a girl lies about virginity - that would be the end of

If you want the relationship to be serious, then you need to tell him the truth. He'd find out anyway, so you just need to tell him. It's always better to be who you are. Don't lie to make people like you! And if he has a problem with that, then he's not right for you anyway.

No..good lord no. First of all...do you really want to be in a relationship you began with a huge lie? And unless you have no conscience don't you think it would weigh on your mind? And what if you do get serious and decide to have sex..do you think he is a moron and won't know? Or what if he finds out from someone else? And why would you want to be with someone who couldn't accept you for who you are?

It really shouldn't, unfortunately sometimes it can and does matter if you or the both of you are virgins. What really should matter though is that the two of you are both honest, practice protected safe sex and aren't messing around on each other. If he's a real man, be honest about your virginity status. He'll be cool about it. If he's not ready to be a man about it, kick his worthless A$$ to the curb already!!!!
