Do you think the world would be a better place if God actually spoke to us out loud like he did to the people in the bible? I know we can still hear from God if we open our hearts and spirits, but I think this is a good question to ask because a lot of people think God is not real.

I have worked for charities all my existence, I were a director of various, a deputy chairman of two and worked with lepers, the starving, the drought striken and in disaster parts!! i'm able to allow you to keep in mind that there are far more suitable non christians operating in charities and they are through and great a lot more suitable dedicated and larger workers!! regrettably all too typically christians were got here across to be attempting to make giving help conditional on going to church or taking up their faith!! This has brought concerning the abduction and killing of such rather some help workers that christians workers in some countries are an absolute criminal duty to all help workers!!! I have seen the Salvation military convey mutually for yet another charity and elevate more suitable than all the different corporations purely to quit below all of us else because they'd taken out what they observed as their prices!! no human being else did that!! The Mormon church in South Africa purely provides help to human beings that bypass the church amenities and ignore about far more suitable needy and deserving human beings!! So there are some good dedicated christians operating in and for charities yet your declare is like such rather some different pretend christian tries to declare the severe floor - purely no longer real and attempting to declare different peoples efforts on your man or woman!! I wager the Muslims, seihks and different relñigions operating so not person-friendly are truly disillusioned with you!! certainly in case you truly want to work out charity at artwork do look on the Muslims who're far more suitable charitable and performance far more suitable human beings interior the field than christians!!!

I'm not really sure, actually. I mean, God spoke directly to the people after Moses led them out of Egypt, yet soon they were disobeying Him. I think we would listen a whole lot better, but alot of people would still act likethey do and ignore Him.

Christians would probably act better- at least i hope so. I try to act like Jesus is right beside me, b/c he is, but i dont think about it every second of the day.

Great question!

If GOD still spoke to us out loud, the world would never have got into the mess it's in now. By the way he is speaking loud and clear in his word(the Bible). He who has a ear to hear, let him hear.

When He did before did people really listen? Even when they heard His voice clearly the prophets at many times had doubts and fears. Hearing God's voice would not build up our faith and trust in Him and the human nature would soon ignore it just as we learn to block out the voices of our parents, siblings and grandparents when they are telling us some truth we don't want to hear.

While it is not a common every day experienc for those of The True Christian Faith, God actualy dose speak audably to some. It is not often reported because what is said is only for the one hearing. It is not intended to be repeated.... There is no need for God to enlist any one as a "prophet" to pass His word to the world. God has already given mankind what he wants us to have of His Word and Will... But, He dose talk to some of his people, sometimes, to day.

We could not handle it.
Also No it would not make the world a better place. If you want to hear God speak, open The Bible and read it.

It may make believing God exists just a bit more likely, but I would still require tangible proof. I do not believe God is real, and there has been nothing to prove to me otherwise.

We have to open our hearts and mind to allow God to speak to us. He does "speak" to us. We don't hear him. Because people are soo busy w/ their daily life, they don't allow God to speak to them. Usually, God speaks as a conscience or in a dream(rare). He usually motivates people to do things and would cause events to happen so people could follow His Will.

He also communicates through the Bible.

No....He used to....then He revealed Jesus to speak, now the Bible and the Holy Spirit. So He has always been speaking, but now we must have ears that can listen.

No. That chatterbox god of the bible did an awful lot of smiting and slaughtering. It's best he keeps shut up. I reckon he's feeling embarrassed about the things he did when he was younger and is keeping a low profile. Good riddance.
