You were lucid, which is quite cool.... The dream is showing you that something you are counting on to protect you from a leap isn't really what it's supposed to be. In other words, something you are counting on to help you isn't really going to help you, when you attempt to use it.

Unless you are a sky jumper, you should look at some of the things that you think should protect you, and evaluate the condition of those things.

You indicate that your "so called parachute," is a "pouch, tangled in strings," so you should consider that whatever it is, it's not what it's presented to you as, but is rather a disguise that resembles the real deal, with all the bells and whitles.

Since we (humanity) are headed into deep dew like a rocket sled on rails, you should probably check out your supposed protection from the events scheduled. For example, if you happen to be a Christian, and you are counting on Jesus or your church (the parachute) saving you, maybe you are being told to examine that belief more carefully.

You are fortunate, it appears, because you "hit the ground close too (to) a road," which could indicate that when you do land (get through the troubles ahead) you will be able to find yourself. In other words, you aren't doomed but you are going to have a rough time landing.

Regards,

Chris

just remember this NOT all dreams have a meaning.
there are ways to create a dream for the thrill ride. some dreams can create the chemical imbalance of adrenaline so that it reduces the chemical imbalance that already exists thus bring the total into balance.
Most of the theories i have heard are crap. and it depends on who creates the dream and where the ideas come from

but symbolically you have big problem with a little solution and you cant get it right

Could be that you are feeling you have lost control of your life? Maybe you feel you have the key within your reach, but that you won't be able to get it in time?

I used to have a recurring dream, where I was in the back of a car speeding along a road at night, and no-one was driving. Every time I tried to climb into the front seat, I got bumped into the back seat, but it never actually crashed... I reckon that was all about control issues in my life, maybe yours is about the same? Of course, applying lessons learnt in dreams to real life is another step altogether. Good luck!

I'm all for dreams having no interpretation. They are just a melge of things that happened to you during the day...

Then again, I have had freaky coincidences with repeated dreams.... maybe Jung had some good theories....

Inwhich case, as I'm now on the fence when it comes to dreams here's a dream dictionary as it were.

ps. The reaslising it's a dream all along, isn't that the freakiest feeling ever? I've had it a couple of times now.

i have a dreams book in front of me which states,"to dream of bailing out from an aeroplane in a parachute, having difficulty in making it open, means that you will be critcized severely by someone you love.if the parachute opens easily and you float down to a safe landing, you will have a smooth and happy life.sorry if its not what you want to hear, but i got it out of a dreams(hidden meanings and secret book) hope this helps though.dreams are weird arent they?

Yes.

You knew you were in a dream.......... that means actually that you were dreaming WITHIN a dream and still asleep.

Your brain was multitasking and hadnt switched off for rest that night, probably due to unsettled tasks playing on your mind.

Dreams are just your brain taking a vacation. People take them WAY to seriously.

Dreams where you are falling are usually a sign of turmoil in your life or unresolved conflict.
