Braid your hair at night. In the morning, comb it out, then put in a pony tail.

Well if your african american with a relaxer use a syramic (spelled wrong) iron if ur not a regular will work and curl the hair then pull it into a high ponytail and add cute clips. Or use foam rollers but these could make hair dry but u can use if u use some type of mosturizer before putting them in and u can sleep with them overnight they make beautiful i mean beautiful curls. or plastic, or u can use hot rollers and pull it up in high ponytail or low ponytail, side ponytail and then add some cute clips from sallys or target, walmart anywhere really and u have.
ps: also add jewelry to set it off

2 ways that i do it.. I have hair down to my bum so its pretty staright when i dont do anything to it,
way 1. you can dampen your hair put a bit of (i use SUNSILK) and scrunch (like grab it and make a fist with your hair all inside your fist. dont pull down just let go of the hair the more you do it the more your hair will get wwavy .. you can use gel and hairspray (i use that when i go out.. it holds better) but it will feel more crunchy..
or you can tie it in twists before you go to bed.. (no braids take 2 strands and twist them together tight! then tie them up in a elastic and they should end up looking like a bunch of Knobs on the top of your head. Lol in the morning when your hairs dry take them out spray them with a soft holding hairspray and shake them out your hair will have a nice wave to it

Crimp it, or set your hair with a wrapping foam (it's a product from motions).
