A basic concept in life is that we have to work for what we want. You want a good job - you got to study hard, you want money - you got to work hard. These are true. So why does our religion christianity, say that jesus died for us and we are born to go to heaven. It doesnt make sense. Does that mean we can be sinful our entire lives but it doesnt matter, jesus died for us so we are off to heaven? it does not make sense.
What if we go to our creator and told due to the sins we have comnmitted, we are off to hell. Who will we blame?

Also note, from what i have found out. The bible was not written by jesus. It was written about 300 years after his death. How can this be the word of god?

Have you read the wages of sin is death. Do you think you can be perfect or that God is unrighteous? Are all Muslims so unread? The books of Moses that are spoken of in your Qu'ran was written 1500 years prior to the birth of Christ and is the begining of the Bible and tells of the coming of the Mesiah and the trinity. Christ came to fufill these prophesies and taught from scripture you call corrupt.

"Jesus forgives me" is a great little way for born-agains to sidestep societal condemnation. And you're right, the whole concept is senseless. My ex-wife left me for another man, and that man had left his wife. They later joined some Our Lady of The Lunatic Fringe church, and were both "born-again." I ran into her some time after that, and she informed me I should forgive her, because she had "found Jesus and he forgives me." I informed her backing herself into a morally untenable corner then begging forgiveness from a myth did not excuse what she did, and never would. "Jesus might forgive you," I told her," but I don't. And I doubt if his ex-wife does, either." Though I am sure they're both convinced they're going to heaven. She actually could not accept that I refused to forgive her, because Jesus did. Weird!

grace is a amzing and crazy thing my friend! yes, its that simple, u accept Jesus as ur Savior, and ur sins r forgiven. however, that shouldnt be a reason to continue sinning and to not work on ur relashonship w/Jesus Christ.

oh, and its the word of God, because it was "God breathed" inspired by God, which pretty much means taht He told the people what to write.

Congratulations!...I applaud you as someone prepared to question what you are told.

This is the true path to enlightenment!

I offer no alternative theories here exactly for that reason....we should all spend our lives questioning that which is offered as 'truth' and for the whole of our lives we should never settle on an answer, until we are totally satisfied that what we have is the truth!

You make a gravely wrong assumption which has caused your mind to remove itself from where it actually is.

If you return to reality - ignore the bible story book as a referance point for anything intelligent - you will find the answers immediately.

Please read Harry Potter...... its a better piece of fiction. (but dont think any of it is real !!!)
