About a year ago, I felt the same way as you... I was a virgin and wondered if I was the only one. I knew maybe like one other person that was still a virgin too. Now, I think it can be special whether it be your first time or your third time, fifth time, etc. I don't think it should be a BIG deal who you lose your virginity to. I don't think it takes all the romance away just because someone has done it before. I do agree that it is hard to find virgins, but seriously, I don't think it is a big deal whether you are a virgin or not!

Well I've been "ran through" (as you so delicately put it). But I am 29 years old. What is the use of being a 30-year-old virgin unless you want to be a nun or monk? I didn't lose my virginity until 9 months after I turned 24. I think that's 10 years older than the average. I know there are a lot of sluts. Most guys are slutty, and so are many girls. But I know a virgin. I live with her. She's 26 years old (but I think she doesn't have a sex drive). I've gone over a year (actually, 14 and 1/2 months) without any sex. That's pretty good for someone who used to be whorish. That's closer to "virgin" than many Americans are, these days.

Because we have become a immoral society and most young people think that sex is just the thing to do. Televison, movies
It has become sady acceptable for some young girl to have 3 or 4 partners by the time she gets out of high school. Some will blame it on the liberals and they may be right to some degree.
But it is the general breakdown of the family, parental non involvement in their childrens life and just the general degenration of our society.
You can't have it both ways by the way ACE. You want to ball everything that isn't nailed down yet you want virgins.

I lost my virginity to my current boyfriend of 2 1/2 years when I was 19. It may have something to do with the fact I was bought up by religious parents.
There are non-religious people who have have no/ few sexual partners.
It seems your just not meeting them.

I love your question, yeah it certainly seems true. But hey, I'm a virgin and an older one at that (34 years old) and I've talked to others my age that are in the same boat. Email me if you want to talk some more about it.

Listening to the younger women where I used to work most of them were still virgins.
They hadn't found anybody worth sleeping with yet....and it was dangerous to sleep around.
Maybe you're looking in the wrong places.

some of it is peer pressure to be like everyone else. some is imaturity. You however stick to your guns and look for that virgin, she is out there somewhere just for you. Oh my the way , if you expect her to be a virgin, you should be one also.
