Third world countries are bad because God is not the true ruler of the world. The bible specifically states: "We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one." 1 John 5:19. God is allowing things to be bad because he is answering Satan's challenge that man doesn't need God as their ruler. So now, man is ruling man with the help of Satan. As we look around us we can see that Satan's system of things is a total disaster. But God doesn't just sit there and do nothing. He helps us spiritually by helping us cope with today's problems. So if you endure to the end, you can have the hope of everlasting life on a paradise earth.

Special effects. Ask yourself how come that race of people hasn't died off yet? They just keep making more starving kids to test your level of sympathy or apathy. At what point do we just put them all out of their misery instead? It would be cheaper and quicker wouldn't it? What's wrong with some generous mercy once and for-all? God has seen so much death for so long he's out playing golf in another reality. While Satan's experiment will eventually conclude in massive failure. It was fun while it lasted wasn't it?

I guess if you don’t know the source, you’ll never know the answer! And when I give you the answer, you’ll just snub your nose at it any way. But being the good, fun loving Christian I am, I’ll answer your question anyway………. Here goes!
Because God created man with free will, but fallen man is pond scum, evil and just don’t care about his fellow man. But God loves us so much that He didn’t want any of us to flail in hell. So He gives us time. But man thinks he’s so smart, he can explain away God. So he keeps telling himself God doesn’t exist. Unfortunately for the “wisdom” of man, he won’t know for sure, until he’s face-to-face with God… Then it’ll be too late.
Too late for the pithy little comments to be washed away. Too late for the condescending comments to be covered. Too late for the forgiveness. Standing before the God who gave this “wise” man the chance to accept the truth……………Too late to answer why he didn’t give a cup of water to the thirsty. Too late to give a morsel of food to the hungry. Too late to give clothing and shelter to those in need.
Make no mistake, God loves us, He wants to help us. But we just keep ignoring Him like spoiled little children. Then we have the audacity to ask why He isn’t helping. But if you really looked, if you shut your trap, opened your eyes and ears long enough to look and listen you’d see.
God is helping. He’s helping through those of us who are willing to go out and do the helping.

In the beginning God completely sustained His creation without blemish. That’s why it was perfect. He held every atom together in a perfect state. He kept the planets in their orbits. He kept animals from tripping and breaking their necks. He did not allow people to suffer and die.
Deuteronomy 8:4 gives us a little glimpse of how things might have been in the original creation. “Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.” God is omnipotent and perfectly capable of sustaining and protecting his creation.
When Adam sinned, however, the Lord cursed the universe. In essence there was a change and along with that change God seemingly took away a little bit of his sustaining power and allowed things like suffering and death into His creation. Now He permits bad things to happen—and this is a reminder that sin has consequences and that the world needs a Savior. Romans 8:22 says, “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.”

God took pleasure in all of His creation ("http://bible.gospelcom.net/bible?passage=revelation+4:11&version=NKJV"), but He loved people most of all. He allowed the created universe to deteriorate so we would see the consequences of our sin. If we did not see the consequences of our sin, we would never see that we need salvation from our sin, and we would never accept His offer of mercy for our sin. Most people easily recognize that there is a problem in the world. This can be used to show them that there is one who has overcome this problem of death and suffering—Jesus Christ.

God isn't supposed to help us, but He does. Suppose implies that He is obligated. If we worshipped Him and served Him like we are supposed to I believe the world would be different. God told us, if we, his people that are called by His name, if we would humble ourselves and pray, seek His face and turn from our wicked ways, He would hear our prayers and heal our land. Charity work is a form of God's help. yes, God can speak and end all civil war's, famine, etc. (things that He told us in the bible that were going to happen). But we haven't done what we are supposed to do.

God puts enough food on this earth to feed everyone. The problem is it is shared out badly which is the fault of our governments. Butter mountains, grain subsidies. Farmers in America are paid more to subsidise a cow than a child in the third world has to survive on. This is not the fault of God. He gave us our free will, it is our fault that we abuse it.

be not deceived the judgments of God fall upon all people, but not all people follow God. if you do not work you do not eat, if you will not prepare a harvest you will not reap it.
if a wicked government has the guns and the army there is only a little divine intervention found among the faithful.
remember ONE mans punishment is another mans justice. and god himself has the only true right to vengeance.

There IS enough food in the world for everyone. Mankind's distribution system sucks. That's not God's fault. Blame the dictators who steal food from their people and sell it for more arms or fancy cars.
