GET REAL THIS IS WHAT RELIGION IS ALL ABOUT.....
You have to make a commitment to accept statements as true without evidence or proof. In fact that is God's test to see if you can believe in him without any reason other
than trust in the authority of the church and it's holy books. And you are prohibited from doubting, questioning, scrutinizing, or putting the object of faith to the test.
THIS IS FOOLISHNESS TO THE EXTREME LIMIT

Well, I don't know what bothers you so much about God not having shown his face, he is constantly showing me his promises everyday. And as far as my neighbor goes, I probable would be expected his return if he had promised me has was going to. If you're like most of us, you work every single day for nothing more than a promise of a paycheck at week's end. You have faith in that without question, even though businesses files bankrupt every day.

I believe the answer is found in the Scriptures...
God became man & dwelt among us & the people of that generation & in the general area where the Son of Man walked indeed saw his face...
This man will again show his face but now all the people will see & know that it is God... but in that time, if you haven't believed, it would be too late to do so.
Why hasn't he done so yet, you ask? ...so that everyone will have the chance to hear & to have the opportunity to choose whether to believe or not believe...

your question is faulty in its assumption.
Jesus appeared to many people throughout history.
I saw him visit me in an OBE, i saw him in two visions, i saw his face, in a dream. The veil is thin and many people testify to seeing him.
there is an apostle who testifies that he saw a vision of christ only a couple years ago.
There is the prophet of the LDS church and founder of the mormon religion who claimed to SEE both Jesus and God the Father.
just because you dont believe it, doesnt mean it didnt happen.
Jesus clearly promised He comes like a thief in the night. He was resurrected and for 40 days reappeared to his apostles and the firstfruits of the resurrection came from the grave. Mathew 25:56

You obviously have no faith. You expect God to meet your expectations and scientific proof. To believe in God one must have faith........blind faith if you will. Blind faith is having the faith to believe in something or someone even though you have no proof that it or he exists. God has a plan and when you pass you will learn the mysteries of God then you will have your proof. But will it be too late for you because you had no faith?

He has, but you haven't noticed him. He lives in every "Born Again" believer. If you want to see the Father just look at us.

Actually, He doesn't expect most people to believe in Him.
As it is written: "...But when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?" (Luke 18:8)
He also said this: "...How blessed are those who have never seen me and yet have believed!" (John 20:29)
But, your question is actually a fulfillment of Peter's prophecy: "First of all you must understand this: In the last days mockers will come and, following their own desires, will ridicule us by saying, "What happened to his promise to return? Ever since our ancestors died, everything continues as it did from the beginning of creation." (II Peter 3:3-4)

I didn't know God showed His face 2000+ years ago. I never saw a photo of it. You must be referring to the mythical story of Jesus in the flawed, man-made Bible.

because it takes faith, and he wants people to be faithful to him. Plus, The Jewish people ALWAYS wanted a sign, and God gave them one, but they continued to sin anyway- which in this world today, people would still stray away from God if he gave us a sign. Besides, he is here, today- because he sent the great comforter, the Holy Spirit when Jesus died, to be with us, until his return, and Jesus isn't a religion, its a relationship with Jesus Christ himself because he wants to be close to him, and he truly wants to get to know us, and for us to get to know him, so we will be able to see him in heaven, and be able to spend eternity with him in heaven for ever.
