everyone says proactiv, but I would see if you can't get your parents or someone to take you to a dermatologist. Even an esthetician at your local spa or beauty salon should be able to consult your skin and give you the best options in acne fighting products.
Other than that, drink lots of water!!

Acne is very difficult to treat, but if it is mild, you may be able to fix it. Start with changing your skincare routine and then if you are seeing no results after 6 months, I suggest you see a Dermatologist.

BHA (or salacylic acid) is an ingredient to look for, as it is a chemical exfoliant that gets into the pores. So choose skincare products containing this. I think Neutrogena is generally an excellent brand - try the Deep Clean cleanser.

Exfoliation is vital to keep pores clear. BHA might not be enough for you on it's own, so try a grainy scrub a couple of times per week. Clinique 7 Day Scrub is really great, as is Lush Angels on Bare Skin.

Moisturise with something lightweight. Choose a lotion over a cream as these are less likely to break you out. Something basic like Olay Beauty Fluid might do the trick.

Lastly, I suggest you join www.makeupalley.com - this is a fantastic resource full of product reviews by users. You could also seek help on the skincare message board. Good luck!

First, you need to know a little bit about acne. Basically, as the skin cells on your face are shedding, they are mixing with the oil ( think it's called sebum or something) on your face and clogging your pores. There is also a germ ( can't remember what it is called) that is a factor.

So, you need a cleanser that will gently exfoliate your skin. Most cleansers will contain salicylic acid, which will work as an exfoliater. This will help prevent acne, but it probably wil not treat an existing problem. For that you will need something with benzoyl peroxide. That may be too drying for your skin, so you may want to use a treatment every other day instead of every day. If you are just suffering from blackheads, you will probably be okay with just a cleanser.

It is very easy to find products containing those ingredients; just read the label on the skincare bottles. For myself, I use Biore Pore Perfect and Philosophy's H2O2 Face Cream.

A very helpful website is epinions.com. There are plenty of reviews in the skincare section of hundreds of acne/skin care products! You can read all about other people's experiences and see what worked for them.

Note: Wear sunscreen- acne medicines make your face more sensitive to the sun. Good Luck!!!

Awww, puberty sux. A lot. When I first started going through puberty I had light acne as well, and I have remained with light acne (i hvae to admit I am pretty lucky about it too) Also a week before your period acne get pretty bad. I right now use:

Neoutrogena cream face wash morning and night.

Once a week I use the black head eliminating pad (It's too harsh on my skin to use every day)

Acne spot treatment by Clean and Clear (It zaps those zits over night)

Clean and clear acne preventing moisturizer (keeps skin glowing and acne free, 2 in 1!!!)

I as a 13 year old that understands what you are going through highly reccomend this

A lot.

Good luck and enjoy life.

Blackheads remedy - Biore cleansing nose strips - really works, but hurts when peeling off (use before going to bed, since it might cause redness). They also have ones for forehead and chin, but I haven't tried them.

Healthy diet, less stress, and sun exposure might do the trick.

I used to have heavy acne but I consulted a skin specialist and they said to just be careful what u eat, drink, and dont wash your face with too many soaps, so now I use Dove soap and water of coarse and my skin is good to go!

acne medicines arent going to help much because they'll just keep coming since your in puberty!
i sugest you just get a nice face wash that wont be too harsh on your face.. someting like clean&clear or neutrogena will be good! make sure it says acne-free on the facewash so you'll know that it'll help some of your zits out. also you can get a zit cream to help zap them and dry them out and get rid of the redness. one more tip.. DONT TOUCH YOUR FACE! your hands are really oily and full of bacteria and that'll make it worse. otherwise goodluck :)

Acne sucks! I've been using a treatment for a year now and so far it's the only one that's worked good for me. I'm almost free from acne now! I highly recommend it.
