How did he make the step of asking you out if he didn't ask you out? Lol, but anyways, it's a good sign. He's not confident enough yet to ask you out so he's pulling out the oh-so-typical safe play... He'll hang out with you and try to do everything that a girlfriend and boyfriend would do without actually asking you out... But he will see how you are going to respond to this situation and if you he sees you enjoyed this "simulation" of what a girlfriend and boyfriend would do, he will have the confidence to actually ask you to be his girl.

Depending on your ages, and if he's known around town to be a player, then you should decide. Dont just go to a guy's house without knowing if aomeone else is going to be around. How well do you know him? Well enough to trust him to go alone to his house. Just because you are talking doesn't mean that's all he has on his mind when you get there!
