I hate to say this, but you won't get many worthwhile airsoft sniper techniques by reading. Look around on the internet and find a airsoft community around you. Go to games, meet a real (er) sniper. Follow him around and learn that way.

That said, basic camouflage techniques apply. Buy a nice set of BDUs that match your surroundings (marpat, KLMK, and DPM work well in the forest in pac.NW). use face paint, and buy (or sew) a gun cover to prevent the 'black gun shape' from being spotted. And don't run into battle screaming at the wrong time. And learn to chose your shots very well.

First alwways have a bakup and keep it ****** at all times (I recomend the KWC M9 berreta
Second pick a good hideing spot
Third if you have a clip fed rifle always leave one shot in the barrel before removing the clip to relode, this way if the oponet comes out unexpectadly you have one shot left.
Also if you know where the enemy is but can't get a clear shot pretend to be out of amo and pretend to relode if your opponent is watching he should come out to get you which is when you shoot him with your fully loaded gun

The art(and it truly is one) of being a sniper cannot be read alone, it must be taught. However, I digress. First, silence and stillness are key. Plus, an unbelievable amount of patience and practice are a must as well. Other than that, just don't get shot!!
