I am on 100 mg of Lamictal and have lately been hallucinating since October. Does the increase of Lamictal help reduce or eliminate the hallucinations. My doctor wants me to start on Seroquel, but I am already on 5 different medications. Please help if you can answer this or can suggest some other options.

I am on both Seroquel and Lamictal for treatment of Bipolar I. I used to have problems with hallucinations, but I think these med's are helping me. I also take Tegrtol.

Sometimes, we just have to be on more medications than we want to. Personally, I would rather take the medicine than have to suffer and hallucinate. Seroquel is an anti-psychotic and helps many people deal with hallucination problems.

My best wishes to you.

I also have had hallucinations and I was put on Risperdol until the hallucinations passed. I am also on Lamictal, 300 mg daily as well as 3 other medications. After awhile you just got to go with the flow. I hate being on so much medication but I hate the hallucinations worse. good luck.
