post pictures of their body for men to comment on seeking male attention just because they didn't get it from their dad?
i'm doing that type of thing..and i don't really understand why.. i guess the whole "daddy never loved me" thing fits for me because i have no relationship with my dad.

You know what? I never understood that. I guess maybe because my dad was around. But when you seek attention from a male, the relationship w/b different than a relationship you get from a father. So I really don't think that's why they show their bodies. Maybe they just want attention.

I understand the attention seeking game that you play. My father loved me but never said it or showed it except for buying me things. Even if I said I loved him first, he wouldn't respond back. I know that's just the way he was brought up but I needed to hear it from him desperately. Now I find myself seeking attention from other men even though I am married. I just can't seem to get enough. I don't post pictures of myself but do many other things for attention. My mom and dad have been married for 60 years and I am still very close to them but I always wondered how she went her whole married life not hearing those words? It sucks but the attention you're getting will never replace the attention you lost from your dad. Keep your dignity and be happy with yourself.

I think every woman reacts to their "father/daughter" relationships in different ways. I didn't always have a good relationship with my dad, but I didn't send out pictures of me for approval...however I had absolutetly horrible relationships for years. We all cope in different ways. The main thing you really need to do is learn to love you for you. Don't worry about anyone else's opinion of you. Really, getting a guy to tell you you are hot is not going to give you any security about who you are. What happens if you are in some horrible accident or if you aren't "hot"? Find that love from within. And if possible...get that father/daughter relationship on the upswing. It is never too late.

no not all girls are like that but, the girls that are really need a decent male freind to be there for them. my ex girlfreind was like that, no relations with her father and i was the only guy she could trust. eventually i got the excuse i loved you too much and she left me but the result was better because she got a few more guys lol

no there are lots of reasons people do things like that --- some just like the attention some want to see what other people think some want to show off

or they post them because they want to be told they are beautiful. not just because they didnt get it from their dad, but because they feel they are not pretty and want to be told by men (because lets face it, thats who we are attracted to) that they are attractive and it helps girls know that they are found attractive by the opposite sex to feel better about themselves. most girls do this.
