Probably getting a cold or sinus infection. Have you been exposed to any allergens lately? Dust, Chemicals, scented candles, perfurmes, air fresheners, excessive pollen? If it doesn't clear up, you start running a fever or your upper teeth hurt time to get to a doc for an antibiotic. I suffer from this all of the time. Sometimes if it's a recent attack, taking Benadryl can help head it off, but too much can really dry you out and make you more prone to an infection. Actually I was recently exposed to a lot of dust and have the exact same thing you have. I'll give it to tomorrow and then call the doc for my antibiotic, otherwise it will take 2 weeks to clear not few days. Good Luck - from a fellow sufferer!

If decongestants aren't working go to doctor. A lot of times this means you have fluid in your inner ear area and the sore throat could be caused by sinuses or a viral infection which drain into the throat causing the irritation.

If it isn't better in 3-4 days go to the DR and have a test done for strep. Until then plenty of fluids and gargle with salt water. The popping in your ears is from fluid build up...Head Cold. You can take a decongestant to help with this.

Perhaps you have a sinus infection and/or ear infection or an upper respiratory infection with congested sinuses. See your doctor.
