Hypocrisy. Christians claim that the old testament can be ignored. They pick and choose which verses to follow and which not to depending on what they like or not. Then they claim that they follow the entire bible word for word.

Many believe that the holy scriptures do not necesserily reflect God/Allah's will, and that much of the things that are forbidden are done so as part of the best wisdom of the time. Homosexuality was banned in the bible because at the time it was far more dangerous to your health than it is now. Pork, birds of prey, and other foods banned in all three religions are foods that with the cooking methods they had at the time if prepared without expert care could have caused horrible diseases.
Fortune tellers aren't expressly banned, just frowned upon as cons, as you said, you can't know the future, therefore they must be making it up, and taking your money...
The scriptures at one time were the main source of education and life guidance that people had, it made sense to involve things that would help keep people alive and prosporous.
It's also key to remember that not all Jews or those of Islamic faith don't eat pork. But there is a higher proportion of people in these religions that choose to obey the scriptures expressly rather than take it less literally.

There are Jewish and Islamic people who go to fortune tellers and eat pork just as well as some Christians. Christians aren't the only people who sin, everyone does.

Firstly, any Catholic who sees a "fortune teller" or a medium is committing a mortal sin. God gave free well, if people want to sin then so be it. They experience the consequences of their actions in the afterlife.
Catholics eat pork because the passage stating that eating pork is a sin is in the old testament and there are other passages in the bible saying that eating all animals is perfectly acceptable and making the null, something God said. I can get the passage, give me a few.
Edit: Actually, the passage is Genesis! How helpful. :)
Genesis 9:2: "And let the fear and dread of you be upon all the beasts of the earth, and upon all the fowls of the air, and all that move upon the earth: all the fishes of the sea are delivered into your hand."
Genesis 9:3: "And every thing that moveth and liveth shall be meat for you: even as the green herbs have I delivered them all to you."
This quote is FROM the Catholic Douay Rheims bible, so please do not tell me it is different from your Protestant King James bible which has many errors and mistranslations.

The people who still think pork is unclean is still bound by the Mosiac law. These people still don't recognize Jesus as Messiah. When Christ came, he fulfilled the Mosiac law. Therefore, Christians are not under the Mosiac law anymore but still apply its principles. True Christians do not seek fortune tellers because they are aware what God does and does not approval of (through accurate knowledge). True Christians take God's word the Bible seriously. Shouldn't everyone worship God worship with SPIRIT and TRUTH without Hypocrisy?

I don't know about fortune tellers. It is clear from the New Testament that it is a sin for Christians. Maybe some don't take the fortune teller seriously (they think that it is a joke) or they just don't know their bible all that well.
As for eating pork, Jesus, Peter and Paul all said that under the New Testament, all foods were clean (see Mark chapter 7, for example).

Christians, are permitted to eat pork! I have never heard that we should not, it is not part of our faith. All fortune telling and superstitions are out and to be avoided. They are classed as the work of the antichrist. Any devout Christian, Jew or Muslim does not particpate in these practices. One is either for Him or against him. At some point of time, one has to chose. One cannot serve two masters!

maybe the Christians just go for fun to see what they say - doesn't mean they live their life based on what the fortune teller says!
Also, many Christians interpret the bible differently than you may as far as eating pork.
In addition, not all Jews eat Kosher and not all Islamics don't drink!
What people of these religions do is based on the individual - remember not to judge an entire religion based on just a few people!

Umm... its obvious no-one knows the future, the only thing anyone can have a chance of knowing is whats happened already.
Its a contradiction to the text in the fictional books that you refer to as obviously any referance to the future (ie you will/will not be off to hell/heaven) is in fact fortune telling.
Gullible people go to fortune tellers, be it in a church or a tent in a fairground. They are one and the same

Fortune Tellers are not considered as 'religious'.
It is considered as a heathen and Black magic ritual that has roots with Voodoo sects.
The Church FORBIDS being Gay as unnatural and against the will of God. How many priests have boyfriends or stand accused of molestation?
ALL RELIGIONS DO NOT ADVOCATE KILLING!!!
And yet all religions kill.
See the pattern?
The Leaders interpret the word of God, (presumably they have His Cell number!) and let all the non blessed of the world hear it.
Religion is basically a crock! The Heads of ALL religions are rich and powerful people. DO YOU THINK THEY WANT TO JEOPARDISE THIS??
Guess which religion is which.

Join with our God and destroy the Infidels!

People can call themselves anything they like, but that doesn't make them one. Christians are indeed forbidden to seek out fortune tellers.
Pork, however is allowed in Christianity. As it is written: "For it doesn't go into his heart but into his stomach, and is expelled as waste." (Thus he declared all foods clean.)" (Mark 7:19)
