i had my hair dyed (just the roots) i paid £60 and only had half a head done, the hairdresser has messed it up my roots are ginger! she has not matched it to the rest of my hair colour which is ash blonde, my hair is light and never usually goes wrong!, i dont want them touching my hair again!, im going to call them tomorrow but what do i say? i want my £60 back as its a state! (i was 2 scared 2 say anything as i am quiet!)

your going to have to go back and tell them they messed up and you want it correcting free of charge

Look I know just how you feel. When you go to the hairdressers you expect you hair to look fab when it is finished as these people are supposed to be trained. If you went to a restaurant and asked for grilled steak and they came back with boiled fish you would send it back wouldn't you? Well you must do the same with your hair. £60 is not a cheap price, so go back and be assertive not aggressive and tell them you are not satisfied with the end product i.e. your hair style. They should put it right there and then. If they refuse, tell them you will take it further, ie trading standards, marketing board etc. Or just ask to speak to the manager. i am sure you will get it sorted. Good luck!

You need to be assertive and ask for your money back as they didn't do what you asked and made a bad job of your hair. The best thing to do is contact consumer rights at this number tomorrow 08454 04 05 06
If you tell them what happened they will advise you. I expect they will tell you that you are fully entitled to a refund. If you mention consumer rights to the hairdresser she will refund you with no problem. I have used this method in the past.Good luck.

I know what you mean about being quiet,it doesn`t get us anywhere does it,i`d have done the exact same thing prob unless it was really really bad.

Just phone them up and say that your not happy with your hair and want a refund or someone else to fix it till your happy with it.I`m sure they`ll agree as they wont be wanting to lose customers.My sis is great with things like this and never leaves untill she`s 100% happy.goodluck,x

You should definately go back! ...If u feel a bit shy about confronting them face to face, ring them on the telephone first...Most people are more confident when they know the other person can't see their face when speaking to them.
Just say that u went in 'yesterday' and your hair colour isn't matching, just say it as it is... They will offer to sort it out and do it again...i doubt they will give u your money back...chances are they will be more careful if they re colour..

Go back, be nice and ask them to fix your hair for free or get your money back. If they give you a problem, let them know in uncertain termes that your hair is not good for advertising their business and you will make sure all the people you know will get a look at it.

Presumming you will never go to that place again, you shouldnt be scared, you will never see those idiots again, so dont worry about asking for money back,
Your the customer,
therefore u have the right,

You didnt get what you wanted,
therefore u dont pay !

ask for the money back !

Cut it off, I lost mine at 18 and never looked back, it hurts like billyo when I bang my head tho.
Seriously though, you lasses need to be more careful about destroying your bodies.
I reckon you are on a loser, all hair dying etc is on a its on your head basis.
(Sorry 'bout the pun, I do feel sorry for you though)

a hairdresser messed my hair up big time last august,i went back and they had to use bleach because of them dying my hair jet black it still wasnt right my hair was terribly dry it was ruined i tryed different treatments they helped alittle but my hair was badly damaged,i had long hair and ended up having it cut off i was gutted,i didnt complain and i regret it now because they ruined it after all this time my hair is back in its condition but its short and no thanks to the salon please go back to get your money and find another hairdresser,if they refused i would take them all the way,dont do what i do please get it sorted.good luck

I think as a consumer you have some rights here, all I know the Office of fair trading might help, search out the net on CONSUMER RIGHTS & also take a pic for evidence.

Take a photo and ask them for your money back and to re do your hair. If they refuse then write them a letter. If there is a head office, write to them too and tell them you will take them to small claims court. If still no luck then take them to small claims.
