First, I'd call to make sure it was her, and not a friend just messing with you.
If it was her, just play it cool, and say no problem, I kinda had my eye on someone else anyway, nothing will sting her back worse than thinking you don't care....
Then, if you're feeling really spiteful, go to some survey site where they ask all your info, and give out her phone number to all those people, she'll be getting phone calls night and day from mortgage brokers and the likes. I did that to my ex, she keeps getting calls for a "Jackin Johnson" about refinancing her 800k house....and letters in the mail about how to stop bedwetting.

Call her and let her know that she could of had the decency to break up with you in person, Be nice and courteous, don't let her speak, afterwards say good bye and hang up. (and don't call again, or text). That should leave her thinking. But if she calls back, listen to her (if its worth it), talk it out. Something serious like that should never be revealed over a text (it has no feeling and its just plain out wrong).
BUT ARE YOU SURE ITS FOR REAL, AND NOT A NASTY JOKE?????????????

I think you need to go up to her in person... But if she is shy... and thats the reason why she broke up with you with a text message then maybe over the phone. It's easier for a shy person to tell you the truth over the phone or internet.

Wow, I'm Sorry dude...But If I was in your shoes, I would first call her and make sure it was her and not one of her friends playing a really nasty joke on you, the second thing is Delete the message to keep from reading it over and over again...If you dont delete it, you'll read it again and again, dwelling on it, and will keep your "wound" fresh.

This girl isn't worth a second thought. Anyone who would show such blatant disrespect for you and such ridiculous disregard for your feeling is NOT the girl for you.
I wouldn't even consider being friends with someone after that.

Thats cold.... don't respond. Ignore her and move on with your life. Most women want men to pine over, so don't give her a second look
