I am going out with a muslim girl but she refuses to tell her family about us. She says that I have to change my religion if I want to marry her. But why is it that Asian guys can marry a non-muslim girl and it's deemed ok. She is so frightened of getting caught that she won't even hold hands with me in public. I would do anything for her but circumcision seems a bit drastic! Why can't her family accept me the way I am? Muslim guys seem to get away with it!!

I am not slating members of her religion. I just want to understand why it's easier for a guy to marry a non-muslim than it is for a girl. I love my girlfriend so much.... i just wish there was a way for us to be together.

They have more faces than a town hall clock. In paradise it says they will get WINE - when I point this out to muslims they say it won't be alcoholic wine!

These people will believe black is white, as long as it says so in the koran.

Makes me sick

Muslims cannot marry outside their Faith.
Male or female doesn't matter.
Muslims If an Asian or Indian or whoever marries a non muslim, then that person is NOT Muslim.

If I could speak to your 'girlfriend' I'd advise her to drop you like a hot coal and find someone who isn't AGAINST Muslims.
You accuse ALL Muslims yet you are in a relationship with one!

The only one who seems hypocritical, is you. Choosing a Muslim girl whilst slating members of her religion.

I actually have merely presently chanced on out that there are various, many Muslims in this area who're hypocrites. They ask and answer questions about deen, hadiths, and so on. and then deliver filthy, disgusting emails finished of cussing and slurs. They pick to trust lies spread about someone in a unmarried week instead of shielding someone they recognize has been respectful for over a three hundred and sixty 5 days in this area. those who do not outright trust the lies nonetheless say they "recognize" a Muslim does no longer lie. various the ex-Muslims who come to this area exhibit the reality about Islam and achieve this utilizing respectful language and are bombarded with slurs, cussing and insult from so-noted as "strong" Muslims.

Your 'girlfriend' sounds like a hypocrite, but you cannot clump all Muslims together in one group. She is not even allowed to be 'dating' you. That is a sin in Islam. We cannot date, just marry. Muslim men aren't even allowed to date. She is ashamed to let her family know about your relationship because she know it is unacceptable, and she knows her family would never approve of her dating and it goes against what is written in the Holy Quran. Don't clump all Muslims a hypocritical, because it is just your girlfriend who has these qualities. I'm sure if you met her parents they would be very straight forward with their opinions on this matter.

if a muslim girl marries a non-muslim guy their will be confusion of religion with the children. its more likely that the children will not be muslims. thats the reason for this rule. its not hypocritical or discrimnate against women. also, i think it is a fatwa given by imams rather than something forbidden in islam. the imams argue that the male may force the muslim woman to change her religion or the children's religion. there is some dispute over this issue.

It is obvious that she has placed her religion before the relationship. The ball is in your court now. Either you can place her before your principles, or let her go.

Religion has a very strong effect on people, many place such value towards their religion that it comes first in every scenario. This seems to be the case with the family of this girl.

they will never accept you. you will always be seen as the infidel, or non-believer. if you convert, that will only be the beginning. you will only be allowed to eat halaal, then you will have to grow a big beard, then you will be forced to pray 5 times a day. stand up for your rights, and for equality. dump her if you have to.

you are right, it is hypocritical. a muslim girl cannot marry a non-muslim, but a muslim bloke can marry whoever. also, a muslim bloke can have 3-4 wives. he can also divorce the wife by saying "i divorce you 3 times". no such rules for the woman.

good luck!

the reason is that they are very traditional. she refuses to tell her family about you guys because of the way they will handle the situation. she is afraid of what they might do. her family cant accept you the way you are because they have different views and mindsets. their religion is extremely important to them, so breaking one of the rules of their religion is not an option.
