I wouldn't call myself a shy girl... except when it comes to guys that I like. I can't even walk or think straight around my crush, and he's in two of my classes.
If I were that girl, I'd appreciate the guy making the first move. It feels good knowing that he cares about you enough to ask, and it makes a girl feel good. Besides, won't it feel good for you just to get it off your chest and get it over with?

Well, you can be shy together then. What fun. I think you will be surprised, you will both find things to talk about and over time you will get more relaxed. Shy people tend to be more outgoing once they get to know the person. I am sure you have close friends that don't think you are shy at all, am I right? :)

Just ask her. The worst she can do is say no. She is not going to look at you and ridicule you unless she is pathetic. If she does not want to go out with you she will try to tell you without hurting your feelings. Just do it. Get over the fear of rejection.
I had a friend. He asked every girl he ever met out on a date. He was rejected a lot. But he always had a beautiful girlfriend and a lot more dates then me. I wish I had gotten over the fear of rejection at a earlier age.
Just do it. Chances are you will be going out.

I am shy, and shy girls are really frustrated by the whole shyness-factor.
They would really appreciate it if a guy would just ask them out. Especially if it was a shy guy.

Do NOT get a friend to do it. She`ll just think you`re gutless. Try to look decent [[not perfect]] and clean. Take a deep breath and just ask her, straight forward. Most girls don`t like mind games, so the more straight forward you are, the more she`ll like you [[even if she doesn`t now.]]

how old r u, if your still in highschool, just write her a note and HAND IT TO HER, but really no matter what age you are just go right out and ask her, don't linger, it will just make you both nervous and she'll just run away. Good Luck

Have guts, chances are, she likes you back if you really have the guts to do this! Just make sure her friends aren't around, and be like,"Hey, I like you, do you like me back?" I did it today to this guy I like in band and he hasnt given me a reply yet, but I'm waiting!
