If you want a overnight shrinking remedy try toothpaste. It will shrink the zit and remove redness. However it also brings the pimple to a head.

There are currently a multitude of acne medications available in the market. However, most of these medications contain harmful chemicals that often tend to do more damage than good. This is where coconut oil comes in. Coconut oil is a good, natural remedy that is free of any harsh chemicals or preservatives. The oil helps to make a persons’ skin look healthier and well-nourished. It helps to fight acne break outs. When it comes to price, coconut oil is usually more affordable as compared to other commercial acne medications.

never use toothpaste!!!
im a biochem major and i have mild acne. at first when i heard someone say "just dab on some oldfashion tooth paste and itll b dry by tommorow" i thought it might work...
but then i tried it andtold my freinds to try it. all except one (out of 9) came back with burnt skin!
if toothpaste was so good, why wouldnt it say '"two uses" or why wouldnt it be in acne medication??!!! the flouride and chemicals will burn your skin and leave a large brown mark that wont go away for many days....i recommend the following:
1. lemons always work for me. squeeze a lemon on the effected spot and it should sting a bit, but work and youll see results by the next day.
2. if you pop a pimple, immediatly dab on some rubbing alcohol or neosporin to prevent a big scab.
3. eye drops. eye drops take out redness in sowlen pimples. TOTALLY helps.
4. make a paste out of flour, milk, and egg. place on acne and leave on for about 15-20 min. wash off with cold water. will definietly help future breakouts.
well good luck to ya and dont worry, itll all be away soon enough!!!

here's what i did for a bit.. it helped a bit for texture and stuff:
cetaphil face wash
honey
bottle of uncoated aspirin from wal mart or something, $1.00
okee doke. wash ur face morning and night w/ cetaphil, which is a gentle facial cleanser, and warm water. pat dry. every night, put on a thin layer of honey on ur face. make sure u have a towel on ur pillow, and try not to move around too much (it gets Sticky!). also, when ur just home doing nothing or watching tv, put a dollop of honey on ur acne as a spot treatment.
ok.. 2 times a MONTH, don't do this too often, but it helps to exfoliate: get 4-5 pills of aspirin, drip a few drops of water on them. they will get soft.. squirt either Cetaphil OR honey, and rub onto clean face. leave on for 30 min or longer (sometimes i slept w/ it on!), wash w/ warm water. Moisturize after!
also, i noticed that Burt's Bees herbal blemish stick really helped to spot treat a large pimple.. i think they have it at CVS. i'm gonna pick one up one of these days...
good luck

one of the hard things about acne is that there's so many products to try. i've probably tried like 20 different products, until i settled on a product called beautiful skin. it's a whole regimen that, in my opinion, works better than proactiv.

Milk, I wash my face with milk three times a week, your skin is left smooth and it even outs skin tone, while getting rid of acne. Also try alvocado and lemon mask, that works really well, and tasty :)

sulfuric acid is best. it may burn a little but the acne won't bother you anymore.
