I mean before God created the universe and stuff...was it like a big dark place. Which I think would still be space. Everything thing has a beggining, even God himself. I mean if you take gods life so far back, I'm sure he had a begining to his/her life. Like some where down the line...(Space), has an ending. It might take forever to get there...but everything has a begginging and a end to it. What was it before the time god created hisself. You know that there was a beggining. Think about what I'm saying!!!!

God has always existed, there is no beginning or ending It's mind boggling I know specially for our little pea brains. There are thing that God didn't tell us. The things which are secrete are Gods and things revealed is ours.

no i do not what your saying

"somewhere down the line . . ." then when you get to "the end" what is on the other side of that?

God said "I AM"

He claims no beginning

you said: "I mean before God created the universe and stuff...was it like a big dark place. Which I think would still be space."

So . . . He always was! You can't find a beginning . . . that would mean that stuff came from nothing . . . how can that happen?

You'll never know what was there before God created everything so stop trying it's worthless and not going to get you anywhere. And, no, God does not have a beggining. you won't understand that because we, as humans, are limited in everything. You won't come up with any conclusions unless after going to Heaven, or if God tells you because it is not open to people to understand those kind of things.

It is actually beyond our current capacity to understand this stuff. In the afterlife you could understand. Empty space is empty space. Before the big bang, there was just empty space (absence of matter) God made the elements that comprised the big bang and set it into motion. I think he was kind of winging it, playing with the composition of interstellar matter, establishing the laws of physics, etc. God always was and always will be. Time is an idea that ceases to exist in the spiritual realm. It all curves back onto itself so that all times are constantly existing simultaneously on different levels.

God never had a beginning and will have no end either,God did not need to create anything as He is perfectly happy in Himself, but He created us to share in His divine love and joy, before creation there was nothing at all.

Well, I think there was a kindergarten with spelling classes. But otherwise all I can tell you is that in the beginning was God and God was the word. The earth was empty and had no form.

The earth was void ie. without shape and form and God divided into day and night. I imagine it was like space. In the Bible, it declares God as the alpha and omega the begining and the end, the first and last.

Before creation/the universe there was GOD, before GOD there is no before GOD. I am THE ALPHA AND OMEGA < THE BEGINNING AND THE END..... I AM THAT I AM.. any and all that you see and know was in GOD, there is no outside of GOD. by him and of him do all things consist. time is merely a concept created by GOD to give the finite mind of man reference points, before and outside of time is eternity where GOD is, always was and always will be.

I know that this is going to sound like I'm a crazy religious nutjob, but I believe that God always was. Some things you just cannot understand, and you never will understand, and this is one of these things. God is supposed to be beyond comprehension....isn't that way God is God?

I know what you mean. It's a question that can bring on madness and really has no answer to it. Honestly, does it matter? We cannot even begin to understand what kind of life it out there in the universe yet we want to ask those kind of questions? Sometimes we need to just know when to stop asking...somethings don't concern us.
