I have met this guy online. WE have been emailing for 3 weeks and talking on the phone about a week. Should we be making plans for our first date or should I talk on the phone with him longer? The reason I ask is I have been in contact with some real freaks out there and really want to make sure he isn't a freak before I subject myself to another weirdo. But on the other hand I do not want him to get bored and go away. PLEASE do not suggest I do what I feel is right. I really would like solid advice.
Thank you

I would be careful with on-line dates. If you do make plans to go out just make sure that it is in a public place. That way it is safer for you. Do not let him know where you live until you know him on a personal basis. People can tell you anything on line so beware.

Honestly, I'd wait a little longer. Wait a couple more weeks or until you're absolutely sure you're ready to meet this guy in person. When you're ready to do so make sure you meet him in a public place, such as Starbucks or some other place.

If the guy was worthwhile, he should be the one that asked you out already and persuaded you, and not have you wait all this time

my advice is if your not comfortable with meeting him but you want to go with friends because remember your friends should like him to and if you do meet him somewhere drive your self and go to a busy restaurant
