my boy-friend and I are going through a rough patch.
my friends told him i wanted to dump him, but... I love him,

He is this REALLY amazing guy, and we were going ok, but,
hes REALLY shy, and is trying to be some one he isnt.
he is trying to be someone he thinks i would like, but i love HIM 4 ALL of his traits!

well first of all it was your so called friend who told him that you want to break up it sounds like she might like him! Maybe you should just talk to him and that you care for him deeply and you would never want to break up wit him cuz you reall like him.And then just tell him he needs to just be himself around you cuz you like him for him and nobody else! And then your friend needs alittle talking to cuz what she did was wrong enless you gave her permission to do it then i guess it was ok!

First: your friends are giving him the brush-off, but you still like him? Nice friends you've got, yikes. Obviously he's trying to be the kind of person your friends like. Why? Well, it should be obvious; your friends shouldn't be communicating with him about your feelings and intentions, YOU should be doing that.
Pull him aside, when your friends aren't around, and say exactly what you said here, with a little dig on your friends: "hey, I know my friends can be awful sometimes, and I'm sorry about that -- and I know you've been trying really hard to fit in, and I appreciate you trying so hard. Here's the thing, though; I really like you, and by you, I mean YOU. As you are. Like you are right now, not like you are when you're trying to impress my friends. I don't want to dump you, no matter what my friends say; I just want you to relax and stop trying so hard."
Next, when you're with him and your friends, don't let your friends push him around; in fact, when someone gives him a hard time (for being shy, or different, or whatever), just treat it like a compliment, show him a little love, and be on his side. Your friends will get the message sooner or later, and if they're determined to destroy your relationship, dump the friends -- you deserve the relationships you want, not the ones other people want for you.

I'm also in 9th grade and im deeply in love with my girlfriend. we've been going out for 3 months and we've had some realy tough times. her ex threatened to kill us, my mom almost made us break up, my friends always flirt with her, and my best friend dosent like "sharring me" with her. but, ive always stayed by her side, and she has always stayed by mine. what you need to do is tell him how important he is, and that you love him very much.

tell him. if he doesn't know, hes bound to assume. Just send him a love note, and just tell him just what you wrote here. If he means the world to you, tell him.

My best advice is to keep your friends completely out of your relationship.
Secondly, you should discuss your problems together and keep them private. DO NOT INVOLVE OTHERS.
