Sorry, this is only natural and is nothing you can do to prevent this. But don't worry, some people find this trait cute.

I have a good friend who had this, I think she said it was called "cardiofacial erythymia" (i'm not totally sure i spelled it right though!). It's just the way your body is "wired," so to speak, and nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about, although it certainly would be frustrating to turn beet red in public all the time (my friend's description). She was able to find some help for it just by working on things that would help her to be less nervous in general -- there wasn't really much that could be done for the blood vessel condition itself, but by becoming more self-confident and sure of herself, she's been able to make it happen a lot less often just because she doesn't get embarrassed or nervous as easily anymore.
Good luck, I hope you're able to figure out something that helps!

You could have a condition known as erythrophobia, or excessive facial blushing, which is caused by over activity of the sympathetic nervous system. There are many forms of therapy, including botox and surgical treatment called sympathectomy, removal of the target nerves that are causing the excessive blushing. You could consult with your doctor to determine if you have the condition and which treatment is best for you. Good Luck!

I used to do that when I was younger. It has only corrected itself by putting myself forward and being more confident in what I'm saying. If you get embarrassed, it's always best to be the first one to laugh. I also took a Theatre class in high school that helped a lot.

I once saw this program on tv it was either er or grey's anatomy and there was one girl with that problem. It was a medical condition that she could not control. Try talking to a doctor about it. Eventually a surgery helped her with that.
If you are over 40 then this could signal menopause.

Unfortunately, I don't think so. I have the same problem. I think it has to do with your skin and the genes passed down to you. I would assume your very fair skinned.
