No ONE sin will wreck your marriage. It depends on how you work out your problems.
A good relationship survives ANYTHING, I mean absolutely anything.;
the people who say cheating or some other one thing,
a)don't know marriage and are too young to know or b) don't know marriage yet they are married and their marriages always end up in divorce and they wonder why.

People wonder why marriages were so strong years ago, it is because they stuck it out through thick and thin, sometimes even the absolute worst, like abuse....which is not good, but HEY! they stayed married!
A good marriage with ends in death survives anything at all because they forget about the past and just muddle through.

So I guess in the end the only sin is not one at all, traditionally speaking,
it would be the sin of avoiding conflict, stonewalling and giving up on the relationship....

Do you know what I think is the 1 cause of divorce? Being too IDEALISTIC.

It is no wonder those who name one absolute thing they would break up their entire house over, devistate themselves and their children, will eventually get a divorce.
Hang up your ideals and you will have a happy marriage.

i don't believe there is one sin that will wreck your a marriage if both people in the marriage are be livers. Adultery can wreck a marriage but the bible says that unrepentant adultery is cause for divorce, not just adultery alone. so this is a really vague question because there are many ways that one could answer this question. it really depends on how committed both people are to the Lord and to the marriage.

Excuse me Sir. But I'm from the Department of Corrections, Unnecessary Punctuation Bureau.

I'm here to investigate your seemingly needless use of quotation marks around the word one.

Is that number in question here, Sir?

Oh ok, I'll give an actual answer: If he put anyone else ahead of me. And continued to do so. Wouldn't have to be "the other woman" either. Could be anyone.

I'll go with not respecting your partner and your vows. I think that's a sin in and of itself.

Excessive gambling, excessive drinking, drug abuse, mental cruelty, physical abuse, cheating, lying, criminal activity, etc. are all examples of disregard for the other person. They all go against the vows to love, honor and cherish.

The worst is cheating. It erodes the very foundation of a relationship. Once trust is lost, you never really feel comfortable again.
