Yes!
I have thought about it many times, I wonder too what the world would have been like had God not created the heavens and the earth, with people and animals. I cant imagine what it would be like. I thank God for creating us. God Bless

I have pondered. But I ponder more on how wonderfully balanced He made the universe and how intricate and detailed His work is. I am an artist so I see all the beauty in everything He has created. It never ceases to amaze me.

Hi Blaire, yes I agree with you,the fact is that God did not need to create anything because He was and is already perfectly happy in Himself, and because of the trinity He could never experience being lonely,so we are left with the only reason for our being here and that is that God simply desired to share His love and joy with us, what a great and merciful God we have.

Blair, I think some people are afraid to wonder, they are afraid they might believe and might have to turn loose some of the worldly thing that the hold on to They try so hard not to believe, that they really think they don't believe. I think some believe that if they don't believe in Hell, then there wont be no hell, and if they don't believe in God, then there will not be a God to answer to. Satan has a Vail over their eyes and they cannot see the truth.

it's okay to ponder that thought, but the bible says that God made us, because he wanted us. I highly doubt that he would go on for eternity without vessels. he wanted us, and he had the power to make us, so i don't think he would waste his powers. and yes, he is amazing. I'm glad that you share that with me!! because it seems that less and less people do. god bless.

true we wouldnt be HERE.
but the spirit is eternal, and we would be somewhere.....
the reason God created the universe is so we can have a life. and as children of God we need a place to go where the environment is controlled and witnessed.

I find it really really amusing how Christians, and others of equally foolish religions, find proof in absolutely nothing more then their wacky beliefs. Seriously, your god is as credible as the flying spaghetti monster.. Ramen.

I just marvel over the thought of all that extra outerspace, and what God did to all those other galaxies out there.
