i want to decorate my baby' s room but don't know were to start?

she is almost a year old and i want to decorate her room i have already painted it. want to draw some stars and animals but just don't know were to start from i want it to look reall nice.

Stencils work pretty good to do stars with, that's what I've done. Other than that some wall shelving to put treasures on would be nice. Maybe some of those quilt clips and his favorite blankie. And cute little drawer knobs!

I think Lowe's has a wall paper section. You might find some ideas there. If you are a good artist--great--but maybe they make sticky things to put on the walls--such as stars and animals. Or maybe you have a local wall paper store. These may be found in other stores--don't know.

It sounds like you want(or have) to do the work yourself. It sounds, also, like you know the basics of what you want. The real problem sounds like you're intimidated by painting"mural"like images on the wall. There are great things that you can do now, like buy the designs that are removable and just stick to the walls(you can find them at JoAnn's). You can go to the local high school and talk to the art teacher, see if she or one of her students could help. You can go on the web and search "paint by number" wall murals, they come with everything. Remember, have fun with it. It's just paint. Also, I know that muralist are trying to branch out a bit and will do a mural on canvas and ship it to you and all you do is put it up like wall paper.

Buy a book and look at some of the bedrooms, take ideas from pictures that you like to design your daughters room
