i think even God would agree with the atheists wager ... it leads to harmony and compassion
pascals wager creates fear and what God would want his children to fear him or believe in him simply through fear

Neither really. I find both childish, illogical, and down right retarded. One assumes that the only "logical" thing is to reject all faith, even though there is no proof of the divine and states that all religions are false (at least how I've heard it worded, and it's very annoying). The other wants you to believe in (Insert big old man in the sky with Holy Book A, B, or C) because WHY NOT? Both are ridiculous and completely lack looking at several other religions in the world, like Buddhism, Laveyen Satanism, and Paganism(both theistic and non). To state that one HAS to be true for EVERYONE is just vile.

Everyone should have their own choice of religious path without simpering fools trying to stuff their God or their version of logic down your throat at every turn. I wish everyone would just let people choose their religious beliefs and help GUIDE those who were searching, but, like world peace, I doubt that's ever going to happen.

The Atheist's Wager makes more sense to me, by far, and I'm not an atheist. Being polytheist, I'm the very opposite. But I believe life is for living, not fear and hatred.

The mistake in the calculation of all these "wagers" is that they do not assess the probability of the existence or non-existence of a god. My personal estimate is that the probability that a god exists is very, very low. And this of course also determines the values of the different sides of any "wager".

Pascals Wager, because when the Atheist realizes on the Day of Judgment that all he had to do was believe in one God he will be very sorry.

I'll take Pascal. The other one is just hedonism. Didn't work for me in the past.
