Hi,
I'm moving from Hyderabad to Delhi in some days from now.
I need some information on how to transfer my bike through train.
Thanks,
Ankit

Simple. Go to the parcel office at the railway station. Get your bike packed. There are packers outside the parcel office who will wrap your bike up in straw and jute with a board to specify the starting station and destination. May cost you Rs50/- to Rs150/- depending on how you bargain. Take the packed bike to the parcel office and book it. You can even specify the train you wish it to be sent on. If there is space in the luggage compartment, the parcel office will send it by that train. Take your bike registration papers along with you in case of the cursory check of ownership of bike by the railway authority.
