Here's the situation: I have been friends with this girl for about 3 months or so. We get along very well, so well that I was getting the impression that she was maybe looking for something more than friends.
One night we are out at a bar, each with our own group of friends. She asks me to come back to her apartment with her. While we didnt have sex, we certainly came close. After this, we begin hanging out alot more, both on the weekends and during the week. It is obvious that we both have feelings for each other at this point, but there's a slight problem...
About 2 weeks before I went home with her for the first time, my girlfriend and I broke up. I thought she was aware of this but I've since realized that she has no clue I was dating someone such a short time ago. And the worst part is that my ex and I are living in the same one-bedroom apartment until one of us finds another place to live.
So....how do you think she is going to react when I tell her this?

I think honesty is the best policy! I think the sooner the better. You need to make it clear that you care for her and its not a rebound if that is the truth. If you feel like it might be a rebound I would not hangout with this girl again. It is clear that she is into you and her feelings are pure. But either way be honest with her about your living situation and your break up being so new. I think she will react surprised but also want to be ressured that you are into her now and not your ex.
Bottom line communication is the best policy

I certainly wouldn't be thrilled of this... but if you explain to her your situation... and be HONEST with her... she might be able to see past it.
I would have been understanding had you mentioned something at the beginning... just try to tell her that you felt uncomfortable having to explain the "whole" situation... but that you never meant to hurt her.
In any case.. you have your work cut for you...
Good Luck!

properly if it turned right into a guy i had a weigh down on id be truly disillusioned through it...yet when we were associates then perhaps id imagine hes attempting to inform me he thinks of me as purely a pal. you should attempt chatting with her, tell her that you want her as a pal you imagine shes a good woman yet its purely that your no longer interested in her in a female friend type of way, and that her putting on you made you experience like she needed more suitable than associates and also you didnt want her to experience that way so that you blurted it out with out wondering. tell her that if human beings imagine your an merchandise nether of you would ever get a date , so her hugging ur arm isn't a good element to do. attempt to be effective, straightforward, yet tell her what you imagine. xxx

i would probably freak out but look for an apartment asap so maybe it wont seem so bad just tell her you are looking for one and that she is to and you are trying to get rid of that specific situation of living together but as long as you are living together it is going to be hard for her to trust you if you get together with her so get out asap no girl wants you living with another that you once had feelings for

she won't like it but talk to her. tell her how you feel about her .
if she cares enough about you she will understand, if she makes
a big deal out of the situation then she doesn't like you as much as you think.
all you can do is explain ...

It depends. she could be angry. or she will be alright with it, just as long as she stays looking for one. She doesn't come up with a reason to stay.
