I'm trying to prove that Canada's are better. And please tell me your sources...that's the important part.

I'm Canadian and would have to agree US infrastructure is better. I have driven my share of both. Try this argument on for size:

Canadian population (tax base) = California population
Canada GDP $US1.1 Trillion - California GDP $US1.6 Trillion

Size of Canada = 24 California's

California snow removal budget: let just call it zero

So with the same population, California has 50% more money around and is about 4% of the area to connect by roads. The roads require less of an annual budget to operate.

The only thing I would have to say is the US has so much infrastructure that they currently can't afford to upgrade it all. Or a lot of areas go through major overhauls because the infrastructure is crumbling. Maybe in 50 years the tables will be turned, but right now theirs is better.

Sorry, American roads generally are better. But so is Canadian health care if you get into an accident.

It's the weather. Spring brings Canadian roads lovely pot holes.
