No baby is born in sin, there is no scriptural basis for that at all. Unless one becomes as a little child, innocent before God, you cannot enter the kingdom of Heaven. So the baby will NOT go to hell.

No, the baby is born into a sinful world and has no knowledge of sin, and is therefore incapable of committing sin. Since the infant is innocent and has not committed sin, there is no need for repentance. In short, babies are not held accountable and go to Heaven if they should die.

No he does not. A newborn baby is born into sin but is not guilty of having committed sin. There is a huge difference. Born into sin is called imputed sin from Adam, and is sufficient to make someone a sinner and to render him spiritually dead. But for babies it does not merit punishment because infants have not committed any sins so there is nothing for which they can be punished.

No child is born "in sin". And I don't care who said so - its not biblical. You do not pay for the sins of your parents. The parents pay for their own sins. What kind of God are they painting out there anyway?? A child who dies is with the Father. To be absent from the flesh is to be present with the Lord. What kind of God would throw a baby into hell just because they died early?

I believe it is the uniform testimony of Scripture that those who are not capable of making a decision to receive Jesus Christ, and who have died, are now with Christ in heaven, resting in His tender arms, enjoying the sweetness of His love. There are numerous factors supporting this viewpoint.
It is highly revealing that in all the descriptions of Hell in the Bible, we NEVER read of infants or little children there. Only adults capable of making decisions are seen there. Nor do we read of infants and little children standing before the Great White Throne judgement, which is the judgement of the wicked dead and the precursor to the lake of fire (Rev 20:11-15). The complete silence of Scripture regarding the presence of infants in eternal torment militates against their being there.
Jesus and the children. As we examine instances in which Christ encountered children during His earthly ministry, it would seem that children have a special place in His kingdom. Jesus even said, "Unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven" (Mat 18:3) He also said, "Whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me (verse 5). I don't think there is any way someone could read through Matthew 18 and conclude that it is within the realm of possibility that Jesus could damn such little ones to hell!

Everyone is born with sin, lives in sin, and dies with sin. As for the concept of hell, that is were you seem to be confused. Hell is not the pit of fire were people are tortured forever. The word "Hell" comes from an old German word "Hoelle" which comes from the term Gehenna. Gehenna is a town in Biblical times that had a constant fire burning outside of one wall. The fire was to destroy trash as well as criminals that have died. Hence, fire was used to destroy. From this, the meaning was changed into the Hell that we know of today.
If you read the Bible carefully, you will learn that when one dies, they are dead. No memories, no feelings, no concept of the passage of time. You're only hope is the resurrection to come back to life. So, babies along with everyone else become non-existent for now upon death. No suffering. Death is the final payment for our sins.

A baby doesn't know the difference between good and evil so God takes them to Heaven. That includes aborted ones.

You had an answer that if the baby isn't baptized it cannot enter into full intimacy with God. I am sorry that is wrong. These are man made rules. In the Bible (Word of God) it says in
Luke 23:39 - 43 where Jesus was being crucified along with the 2 criminals that one of them would be with Him in paradise. Now this criminal wasn't baptized. He believed who Jesus was. Read:

39One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: "Aren't you the Christ? Save yourself and us!"
40But the other criminal rebuked him. "Don't you fear God," he said, "since you are under the same sentence? 41We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong."

No, all children are "innocent" until the age of accountability. Until they truley understand they have to make a choice between good and bad. If a child cannot make those decisions, then it goes to heaven.
I also believe there are some who are mentally ill who never reach the age of accountability.
