I have two children aged 7 and 9- are there any parts of the park that would particulary suit this age range. Is it best to buy tickets beofrehand, can you get two day passes, would this be sufficient. Any tips for getting the most out of the visit.

Hello, from Paris,

I don't know what are Q-Jump tickets... Disney is using Fastpasses to bypass long queues : It's free, you just have to go to the attractions that propose some, you get your Fastpass using your entry ticket, it allows you to come back later and queue something like 15 minutes at most.
I recommend to go and collect Fastpasses when you arrive in the park.
It's a good idea to buy your tickets in advance as there can be long queues at the ticket booths.

If you know Disneyworld in Florida, Disneyland Paris is smaller but the rides are newer so they are much better. Big Thunder Mountain train is much faster in Paris and Space Mountain has nothing in common with its Florida equivalent.
I think 2 days should be enough, it depends if you go there on crowded days though...
The Disney Studio park is really small, people usually have done all there is to do by mid-afternoon, so I suggest going to this park in the afternoon to avoid queues.

As for what your children can do, I've got a 7 years old daughter, so I'll just describe what she likes :
- Big Thunder Mountain train : the whole family will love it, I guarantee !
- Buzz Lightyears, Star Tours, Pirates of the Caribbean.
There are other attractions like It's a Small World, Peter Pan, etc... which are ok but quite 'classical'
If your kids are tall enough and daring you can try Aerosmith and Space Moutain (this one is really great). If they're not afraid of loud noise, darkness and fire (my daughter is...) : Armageddon.
Lastly, they will surely enjoy all the shows and parades.

Note that you can do 'baby switch' (at rides like Space Moutain, Aerosmith, etc...) : one adult waits in the queue while the other one look after the children. Once the ride is other, the other adult can ride without having to queue. Ask the cast members.

Have a nice trip !

I went there, and I think your kids will love it. We found it best to buy our tickets before we went because you could get better deals. You wouldn't want to show up to disneyland and be told that they don't have any hotels would you? And the price would be more expensive, and it's already very expensive as it is. We stayed at a hotel inside disney. The Cheyenne hotel. There's really no advice, but we got 3 days there and it still wasn't enough to see the whole park, it's huge. Have fun.

Yeah definitely get up early to go into the park. We went in at about 9 or 10am and the lines were very small, like 5 minutes. Then later through the day they became like 2 hours long. It's definitely worth losing some sleep for.

1. You need about 50 Euros a day. 2. the buses that run fom the hotel are usually busy first thing on a morning, dinner time & last thing at night. My adcvise is to walk in in them times. 3. The best place to eat is the Disney Village and there is Billie Bobs which is like a bar type place. Ranforest Cafe (get in there about 3:30 to get a table). Cafe Mickey which is good and Annette's American Style dinner. 4. Don't forget to set your watch to French time. Just got back from Disney

get a 3 day pass at least as the park is huge with so much to see, also if you are going during school holidays you can guarantee it will be busy and most of your day will be taken up by queing for rides!! Also you want to catch one of the evening parades! the areas of the park will become evident as to which is best when you get there depending on what your kids are into! its been a while since i went but i absolutely loved it!! hope you have a great time!!

Buy the Q-Jump tickets. More expensive but at least you won't have to queue up for so long for rides.
