My oldest son is always teasing, grabbing away and will not share toys with his younger brother. He also trips him, and slaps him. I keep taking toys away, give him time outs, but he still won't stop. He won't listen either. He just started school in the fall. I work FT so, my mom babysits and she is not discplining him at all. I try my best after work, but nothing that I am doing works. Help?

Sending my children to their room where they are forced to be alone works for me. They hate it.

Secretly sign the younger son to karate lessons, or some other butt kicking class. I'll bet that will bring an end to it. Or tell the older son that every time he teases his brother, his brother gets to punch him as hard as can without getting punched back. And if he does punch back, then the brother gets 2 free punches.

You can start by raising the younger bros selfesteme and teach him some assertiveness skills. Teach your younger one to stand up for him self. and to be alert to what the older one is doing. Teach the younger one to ignore the older one.

Tell grandma to start disciplining him. She is doing him a disservice by spoiling him. It is better to be hated for a moment and loved for ever, then be loved for the moment and hated for life.
