If you're friend is hot and doesn't have a rubbish personality then ask her to tell him she wants to see him or something along them lines, just to get to know each other better. You could also do some "detective" work and talk to him and ask him questions he will not understand BUT will give you answers. Report these answers to your friend. Then discuss it..
