I'm in the same situation, only dark champagne. Instead of the white shirt for his tux, we've opted for the black version - we're having a night wedding. His vest and tie will have the 'color', so we didn't see the need in having a white shirt. I didn't know if it would clash or not, but we felt the black would look better in the pics, and play of my gown, making both look more elegant.
I don't think you'll need to worry about the linens, but if so, possibly include a champagne colored ribbon or tulle in some of your table decorations to coordinate with your dress color?
Best of luck and congrats!!

Let me ask you a question: What do you want? If you want your hubby in a white shirt, put him in a white shirt despite the color of your gown. If it's what you both look best in it doesn't matter that you match! You're not twins! If you're still feeling nervous about it, his tie and/or vest could match your dress instead of the wedding colors (this will help people who are at the wedding who don't know the groom to identify him from all the groomsmen!)
The table linens are the table linens, unless you're planning on dancing on one of them the only reason they're there is to keep the table clean. You can add little champagne accents to your tables if you're still feeling nervous about the table cloth. Besides, if they were the same color as your dress they would wash you out and you - THE BRIDE - wouldn't stand out as much!

I would care just because i think everything should match why don't you have the groom wear a black shirt and a champagne tie i am sure you can find one somewhere or the tux place should have them. And why don't you get the linen the color of the bridesmaids dresses not white because it will class your dress but it wont go with the color of the girls try to coordinate your colors.

I would go with another color of shirt and table linens - YOU need to stand out not clash -so get rid of the white and use your other wedding color for the shirts and linens.
Good Luck in Your New Life!

What colour are your bridesmaid. It doesn't matter about the white shirt at all but it might make u feel better if u put the bridesmaid in natural tones (chocolate browns, golds etc.) that way it can be a theme.
I dont think there is another colour shirt that would go any better and not look tacky. U will look so great together and nothing looks better on a groom than a crisp white shirt (except maybe his stunning bride on his arm)
All the best and if thats the most you have to worry about your wedding your doing fine :)

The white shirt is the traditional color regardless of the other color scheme. The groom usually ties it in with a color tie to match along with a cumber-bun to match as well.

I wouldn't say that champagne and white clash. But don't worry-you can't coordinate everything. Believe me, I've tried!

No one said he had to wear a white shirt. In fact for my wedding, my husband wore an all black tux with a black shirt and a light blue vest and tie. It was HOT!

Nope, no eyes will be looking at his shirt anyway.
Also, if you have him get another color that is another shade of white, but not bright white it will look as if the shirt is dingy and old.
Have him wear a crisp white shirt, your pictures will be beatiful because YOU will be beautiful!
