Yes there are earthquakes all the time, but most register less than 1 on the scale

as for windiest im not sure but Argyll has a wind farm that is said to be the most efficient

2. Yes, there are earthquakes although they are rarely as strong as other parts of the world. Most people have never experienced a British earthquake.

1. The Isle of Tiree, Inner Hebrides, Scotland. <-- this is the right answer.
2. Yes, small ones. I'm 25 and I've only felt 2 minor quakes here in my whole life, but there are smaller ones happening more frequently. They occur along fault lines... there are far too many fault lines to list, but none of them are are particularly big or active.
