I wanted to get her the Push & Ride doll racer by Little Tikes for her birthday (Feb 20th!) but EVERY website says they are out of stock, and I can't find it in stores! I dont want a ride on toy that makes a million noises and plays a bunch of songs, she already has enough noisy toys in our apartment :P Can you help me find something that is simple????

My son has a RIde to Roll scooter by Playskool. It's cool! It starts out as a ride on toy for when they are just learning to ride but as they get bigger it converts into a big kid scooter. It's a really simple toy. It does have a little dash board that's removable that plays like one or two songs. It's not vary loud. We live in a small apartment and he has a million toys so i know the feeling. There's always toys everywhere.

The rock roll and ride toy is awesome. She can rock on it now then you can adjust the handle and you can push her( it has a place for her feet if she cant reach the pedals) the she can use the pedals later to go where she pleases. I bought one for all three of my kids and the bike has changed but not he concept. Good luck and Happy Birthday!!!!!!

I suggest the Radio Flyer Classic Tiny Trike. I have an older version of this great ride-on toy for four years. Both of my children loved to learn to ride it when they were year old. In fact, my 5.5 year old and 2. 5 year ride it daily still! It is a great investment.

You may also consider the ride-on horse by Radio Flyer, although I don't have any experience with this toy.

Although not a ride on toy, the Radio Flyer Walker Wagon is a great gift for a one year old.

Here's another great birthday tradition start....the Rainbow Bridge Story.

I kid you not the "little red wagon" is you best option here. The ride ons seem to be so temporary. They outgrow them faster than you think. Where as the wagon can be pulled, by you with her in for the first little while then she can pull all her babies in it when shes walking. Later it can be a strage "bin" for the babies she no longer plays with but HAS to keep. So it's multi use and usually found everywhere.

Go to Toys R Us or Walmart and get a simple one. My son got one for his first b-day and still loves it.
