This could be a variety of things, different disorders can have similar symptoms. Talk to your doctor about it, it may be an effect from a medication you are on or you need anti psychotics.
It could be a range of disorders from psychosis not just schizophrenia, so talk to your doctor about it and let them diagnose you never self diagnose.
A list of symptoms of schizophrenia to help:
Delusions
Hallucinations (Auditory/visual/smell/taste/feel)
Withdrawal from society
Catatonic behavior (there are different types of schizophrenia
this is a symptom of catatonic schizophrenia)
Disorganized speech and thought
Random mood swings
There are different forms of schizophrenia and more symptoms people are often places in more than one type of schizophrenia when diagnosed. It is a difficult illness to know whether you have so like I said talk to your doctor.

What are your meds for? If you're taking antipsychotics and still hearing voices but knowing that the voices aren't real then it might be schizophrenia -- ask the doctor who prescribes your meds. Otherwise, if the voices started after you started taking meds for some other reason, maybe the meds are causing it. On the other hand, if you have hallucinations but know they're not real and are not on meds for psychosis, I'd question whether it is schizophrenia. One would say your reality testing is intact.

Sorry for such a confusing answer. I guess I'm confused about your question too. Take care -- could the voices and visual disturbances be related to anxiety?

Yes. Visual and auditory hallucinations are typical of schizophrenia. Get yourself to a psychiatrist for appropriate treatment!
