If you have recurring chest pain, everything is NOT perfect. It doesn't matter what age you are; pain signals there is a problem. So many things cause chest pain. Of course everyone thinks of the heart but indigestion, gas, lung infection, stress, spinal problems, anxiety or panic attacks, gall bladder infection can all cause chest pain. I would continue to seek an answer until someone takes the time to check everything out. I even had a doctor tell me once that my chest pain was from the JOINT IN MY BREASTBONE having arthritis. Don't give up!

It could be gas or acid reflux, which is caused by excess acid and gas togather. It will not show in any of the tests. If it is gas the pain will be like pressure, try to take some OTC medicine for gas available at drug stores, if it is acid reflux, it will be like burning sensation or heartburn. Taking gas medicine along with antiacid will take care of it temporarily, but mostly it is maintenance type problem.

anxiety could be causing your chest pains. are you stressed out? i have been to the ER a couple of times thinking i was having a heart attack. come to find out that the ER see people with chest pains all the time who are really having anxiety attacks.
if your doc has given you a clean bill of health physically...maybe you need to look at your mental health.
all the best.

is it right side , middle, or left side? Where the pain is and what it feels like can help determine a prognosis.
