Careful bro, he is being very nice to you. He can legally call the police and have it towed away. Its totally legal to park on the street but not in front of someones driveway.

In the town I live in, it is against the law to block someone's driveway. What if he wanted to go somewhere, and you had his drive-way blocked, so he couold not leave. Also, if he needed emergency help, they couldn't get to his place very well if it was blocked by your vehichle.
