Put some butter/oil in a pan...not too much.
Heat a pan over medium heat. Cook 2 minutes on each side on medium, then raise the temp up and cook for about 6 more minutes on each side.
Don't use a fork to stab it to turn it.....use tongs.
Put salt and pepper on the steak, let it rest a couple minutes before serving, then dig in.

Okay assuming you like a medium rare steak, and its about an inch or so thick.
Set your oven on broil (most foreman grills don't get hot enough for a good steak).
Season it with salt and pepper on both sides. put it in the oven when it's piping hot..about 2"-4" from the broiler...flip the steak over after about 5 minutes. Then let it broil the other side for another 3-7 minutes. It's hard to say depending on the thickness of your steak, but i say..pull it out earlier if you're worried. You can always recook a steak if its undercooked, you can't turn it from well done back to medium. take it out put it on a plate, glob some butter on top of the steak and let it melt down..maybe add a pinch of salt to the butter.
let the steak sit for 5 minutes so the juices in the steak move form the center back into the steak.
cut it, check for doneness..serve with ur choice of veggies and starch..voila. :)

p.s. it's always good to go light on the seasonings like salt and pepper and butter, and to undercook the steak again. Because you can always add more seasonings later, and you can always cook the steak back up if its too rare for your taste. Broiling in an oven is good technique to use. Also consider using the drippings on the baking pan you use to make some au jus. Stir onions on it with butter and shallots..add salt and pepper, then put a little beef broth on it..maybe add some lemon zest.

I would choose the George Foreman grill. Those things are excellent!
Season the rib eye on both sides with a dash of salt and a generous sprinkle of pepper (a bit of garlic powder too if you have it...). Slap on the old George Forman grill. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your steak. Because the George Forman's heat on both sides it will cook much quicker than you think. Please don't ruin a wonderful steak by over cooking!
Take it off of the grill when it is slightly rarer than you intend to eat it and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving. This allows the juices to re-absorb so it will be more tender and juicy. For example if you want it to be medium take it off the grill when it is medium-rare. The residual heat will continue cooking the meat during this resting period.
Enjoy!

Put the steak in the oven about 5 inches from the broiler element and broil it for about 7 minutes on each side. Only turn it over once because repeated turning makes the steak tough.
I usually use a marinade called Dale's, but anything that's dark brown and salty works as long as you don't put too much.
If all you have is the basics then just salt and pepper the steak on each side and put it on to broil.
Good luck and I hope it turns out for you.

ok,no grill sucks....heres what ya do.First turn your oven to broil. You must have a frying pan,Get that sucker nice and hot.Make sure it heats relatively even.Evenly and libaraly distribute salt, pepper and garlic powder (if you have it)on both sides of the steak.Dont be scared to use some salt. You have a good steak there, try not to ruin it.Turn on your exhaust fan cause your gonna need it.Now take that steak and try to blacken it evenly on both sides, obviously in your frying pan.Oh yeah,I might wanna mention that you be careful that you dont burn your frying pan.Dont heat it up till your ready.Once it looks pretty good throw it in the oven on a broiler pan or a cookie sheet(sheet pan) if thats all you have.Put the rack on the second slot in your oven. Now make sure you leave your oven door open about 6 inches or your gonna burn it to a crisp. There will be a little catch on the oven that will keep it in that spot.I cant stress it enough....dont over cook it.Rare to medium rare is good.Cut it open if you have to.Anything more than medium rare and your gonna lose all the flavor of that $10-$15 steak.Trust me on this one.........Good luck!

take your steak out 1/2 hour before you need to cook it so it gets close to room temp. put salt and pepper on steak, both sides. pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees. get your pan hot on the burner, once hot add a little vege oil to pan and add your steak. turn it three minutes once you flip put into the oven. about 10 minutes your steak will be med rare Add a bit of butter on for shine when it comes out. You can flavor the butter with oregano or garlic. Enjoy!

With the utensils you mentioned, pick the one that will give off the highest heat. The idea is to sear each side and leave the middle a little reddish. Chose a thinner cut too because a low heat isn't going to properly cook your steak and low heat is going to produce a piece of shoe leather.
Hey I am way down here at the bottom. I need to type faster. One guy above me wrote a whole book the time it took me to write a paragraph.

It depends on the thickness of the steak. It should be about 3/4" thick. Put steak seasoning like Emeril's or just salt and pepper on both sides. Put it on your pre-heated Foreman grill for 5 mins. for med. It's easy. You should have directions with the grill, by the way.
