i worked for a couple diffrent companys this year one of my w-2s in state sayes DC i live in baltimore will that effect my return how do i change it?

You will have to file a multi-state tax return on your state return. However on your federal return you can just list all of your multiple w2's and file that normally. I filed with www.expresstaxrefund.com and after my return was accepted by the IRS i just called the company and requested a multi-state return to be setup and it was included in the cost of my regular state return. Great site!

You should be okay. I think there's even a section on the tax form if it was issued to a different address. As long as your social security number is the same, you should be fine.

What is a little trickier is that you'll have to do separate filings for Maryland because some income was earned in Maryland and some in DC.

No affect. If your address is wrong on the W2 you can get it corrected if you wish, but the IRS will accept it as long as your SSN is correct.

If you worked in DC, you may owe income taxes to DC for the income you earned there.
