Have you sought help from your doctor?
Seriously. I was the same a few years back and thought that no one understood how i felt because i wasn't able to describe it as you have. I did nothing about it until it got to the point that i was suicidal. Turned out to be a chemical imbalance in my brain. A few monts on medication and i was almost human again.

Hello,You sound as if you're in a bit of a pickle you poor thing. You didnt mention anything within you're life at the moment which may be the source of the way you feel - Just had a baby? Lost somebody close? Fed up with you're job? In lots of Debt ? etc.... Everybody has ups and downs , thats healthy but if you feel worse than that , that the ups are ecstatic and the downs are unbearable you do need to see you're GP. Nobody will think any less of you, you really must voice how you feel before you're head explodes.
I had the most terrible post natal depression, then the guilt on top that I couldnt cope - Then I got mugged!! That afternoon I saw my doctor after being sat in his waiting room balling my eyes out , and not one person said "Hey , come her, whats up?" I felt I was in a hole with no way out. YOU CAN FEEL GREAT!
I took Prozac for 6 months which is a drug that will even out the horrible bits ,I'm not promoting Prozac but..... It did work for me- I tried several drugs before realising that this one suited my needs. A bit of counselling and I am happier than ever before.
You are NOT a Nutter or mad , just ,,,,and just perhaps you may have an illness that millions of other people go through at least once , Go and see you're doctor babe, nothing to be ashamed of . Good Luck Kate x

sweetie the people who call you these names are the ones who are the morons please try not to take it to heart they just dont understand you. Everyone does stupid things they wish they hadnt and probably feel similar to you a lot of the time but they hide it. You need to find a place where you feel comfortable in life, have you got any hobbies or interests perhaps you could join a club where people are interested in the same things as you, you should definitely see a counsellor or doctor they will be able to help you with your depression which you most definitely suffer from (like a lot of people) You should make a list of good things in your life such as family or the fact that you have helped someone by answering their questions on here! Avoid the temptation to make a list of the bad ignore the bad! If you cant think of anything good make a list of nice things you have done or seen or still want to see it could be a bird in a tree or anything simple like that it will help you see things in a happier light. Dont dwell on what people say but please get some help you will feel a lot better I promise x

hi my friend,
If you were in hospital with a leg broken in a few places people would see the problem and generally..unless they were morons, sympathise with you and give you kind and encouraging words to get better.
Mental health is a different issue, people are afraid because you may be having mood swings, 'mood swings' things that people cannot see therefore they can't understand, these mood swings may be greater than what could be generally described as 'normal', even that notion is debatable, depending on age etc; lets face it teenage years tend to be up and down regarding moods, most parents understand that.
If you are depressed and worried I recommend that you see your GP and ask for some counselling at your local surgery.
I hope this helps in some way and I wish you all the best and hope you find a brighter future with help from caring people.

I agree with the first guy that answered, people judge people due to their own shortcomings most of the time. I can't believe these people, so heartless & cruel. Don't give them a second look. I have always felt different & felt I don't belong here. There's a reason for that..but love yourself, it's the fact that we are different that makes life interesting, I love people who are different & unique. But at the end of the day, we all need love & need to give love & be loved. If someone acts cruel, it's their own hurt, not yours so take on board.
PS> nothing wrng with you, it's them you should worry about.

We all have ups and downs, we all do stupid things, it's normal.
Don't take life so seriously. I dont and I laugh most things off and smile at people. You will be surprised how differently people are towards you if you spend more time smiling as you come across friendly and approachable and in time it will make you feel good.

You actually sound relatively normal. Its the people who are happy and full of self confidence that I'd worry about.

What I would say to you is that probably 90% of the people in this world feel as you do, it's the other 10% who are the nutters.

you just lack confidance and need some love, most mental problems are because people have not been loved properly or given encouragement, and are hurt. read overcoming depression www.robinsonbooks.org and the confidant woman joyce meyer www.joycemeyers.org listen to her on tv she is great

I felt like that for years and my family finally persuaded me to see my G.P and he put me on anti-depressants to lift my moods. That was 6 years ago and I have not looked back.
So please seek medical advice and hang in there its not the end of the world
Take care
