Ever since the sixth grade (get ready for this), I have been praying for a wife (girlfriends seemed to come and go in my friends relationship, so I always wondered how people can date off & on so frequently without having any real feeling for another person after dating them). It took me a while to realize it but the one I had been praying for (yeah she went above and beyond my list, it was mainly religious) was the one that I hadn't really paid attention to but was just a friend to. We both like each other (so we've said), but I think it goes deeper than that. I find myself pushing myself whenever I am around her. I give when I can & often think of her well-being more than I think of my own. Her parents love me (they invite me to do family things), which would actually make me the first guy that her family accepted to do anything with her (take her to prom). We both want to finish college first and I have told her that I would wait for her (she thinks she is unworthy). She is & more..

I meant to say that she is worthy and more (thanks for correcting me). I am currently in college for those who think I wasn't yet. I do know what I want, I always think/meditate on things before I say something stupid. Thank you guys for your truthful answers though (I am not caught up in the college life-style that many are probably thinking I might get caught up in, I ENJOY my studies, yeah it's pretty sad).

Many of you who are saying that I am too young have probably been in at least one date in your life. I on the other hand haven't. It is sad to say but I am probably more mature in this area than most, I have seen physical and mental abuse of relationships first hand (from my parents). I thought I was too young also, I honestly wasn't planning on meeting/dating anyone until I was over 30.

god if i could redo my life i would do it your way, you definatley have your head on your shoulders and i think you should go for it, talk to her, its not sad you getting your education its what you need in life to get a good job and to survive, so what if youve never dated youve waited for the one and you should be proud of that. Goodluck!

True love... Well kiddo, to tell you the truth, you are a little too young for that. Wait. The love, or "crush", might fade away. uh. Your story is cute, but, think logically. Be wise. It's too soon. Everyone I know who married early (early 20s or before their 20s) has divorced! Wait. You'll know for sure in a few years...

your young. you think you know what you want and you will think that for a while, but then you will go to college and experience new and different things and from my experience it changes people. It not that they change for the good or bad but their lives just take another twist. I would live it up while it lasts and if it works after wards.... you are of the minority of Americans.
cheers and good luck, (I'm pessimistic because of my dreams much like yours; were halted.)

I used to think true love was real but love is fake, all of it is because no one thinks about anyone else but themselves, even I have once or twice. Love differs for everyone and if you think you are in love with this girl then try your hardest not to let go because if you do, whatever you have between you two will die.

well first of all would you die for her? if she was in the middle of the street and a car was going to hit her would you risk your life for her? thats how you know you really love someone it doesnt matter what they look like or what they wear or what kind of car they drive if you love them they will be beautiful to you even if everyone else thinks their goofy looking or if they arent popular I guess my answer was more of a question but if you really want to know you need to ask yourself these questions .so just put god first and let me know what happens

Sounds like it to me.

But college involves a lot of growing and you might change your mind. Go to college. If it's real, it won't hurt anything. If it's not real, you'll be better for it.

I would't really call it true love but you do love her, more like a bestfriend. She loves you the same way. But I can tell you that you like her alot (in the more relationship way) and I also can tell you that it seems like it will grow to be true love.
