The fact that you feel you need to be drunk to speak with God, concerns me.
Do you not feel worthy to speak to God while you are sober?
Or is it that your guard is down while you are drunk and so anything goes?
Personally I'd rather have someone speak to me while they are sober, and making perfect sense. Listening to someone try and talk while they are three sheets to the wind it trying at best.
For one thing, most of what they are saying is BS..
So, that said... how do you think God feels about the fact that you are always drunk when you call on him?
Please believe me when I say, it's alright to talk to God whenever you need to.. That door is one that will never close.

You can talk to God drunk or sober. Do you mean God only speaks back to you when you're drunk?

Sure, you can talk to God when you're drunk. It's better than never talking to Him. Another quote: "A drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts".

It seems that when you are drunk your mind is free to travel through the fumes of alcohol to the fumes of heaven, I on the other hand, speak to God when I am sober...each one his channel!

because when one's really drunk he gets really loose and he doesnt focus on what is really happening around him. it's known that drunk people can confess things that they normally wouldnt tell anyone about, i guess it's the same thing here, god is a part of everybody's subconsciouns and that gets strengthened when one's drunk.

everybody is seeking God somewhere else..
you are looking for him in a wine glass somebody else is seeking god in bed with a woman or another one is seeking him in a book or in extreme sport.....we all are seeking God, depend on our intelligence, religion or education if we are success full or not...
