You need to talk to him about how you feel about that still, it sounds like you never had it out with him. You need to tell him that that incident has made it very hard for you to be comfortable around him, not just because he got violent and dangerous around his little boy, but because he revealed what he really thought of you when he was drunk, and you are still upset at the nasty surprise that that was. Say this when there are other adults in the room with you, adults you trust and who are aware of what happened, but who will not interfere while you and he are talking, unless he gets nasty. But it doesn't need to turn into a slagging match, and if it does, then you know you need to move in with your Dad.

Take a BIBLE wrap it , put his name on it and put it on the doorstep with some balloons and stuff, ring the doorbell and get gone!!
