I think this is true, but maybe not. If your experience is different I'd like to hear about it, but for the most part I find this. So any ideas why?

Gotta compensate somehow. Plus I think it makes them feel better and relieve the insecurites they have about their image.
Edit: hey guitar babe, I think you need to reread your text book. Higher fat levels is what is responsible for an increase in estrogen. Thats why overweight men have LOW testosterone levels. Underweight women will not have enough progesterone and subsequently experience amenhoria.

1 of my friend said the same thing but most of the time the answer was because they have bad insecuirty about their body and they bene storing up their libidos . That is why they are more horny from a guy who is in between of fat and thing and the middle side , I can say ti all depends on how you handle it . I always have high libido back when i was 12 till now not because I was fat is I kind of use it as an advanatge and learn to make my penis and dick to be more bigger

Do you mind some science here?
Fatty cells chemically process steroid hormones (the ones with sort of a fatty structure) which includes converting male to female hormones and vice versa. That's why overweight women have a higher amount of testosterone than other women. The same goes for overweight men and female hormones. As testosterone is responsible for sex drive, there you have it!

Well, I'm personally on the not-so-skinny side of things, and I wouldn't say I have an increased libido.
Maybe it comes from sexual supression? Like, it gets all built up and there's less chance of releasing the tension.

Heavier women tend to produce more estrogen. Maybe this is part of the reason.
